Vision

At Cavendish Primary School, we strive to create a nurturing and exciting environment where every pupil can thrive. We are a community where all pupils feel a sense of belonging in our extended school family. Everyone is committed to fostering resilience, encouraging our pupils to keep trying even when faced with challenges.

Kindness and tolerance are at the heart of our community.  We teach our pupils to care for others, recognise the importance of empathy, and respect diverse perspectives and backgrounds. We celebrate differences and embrace the unique qualities that each individual brings to our school. By promoting tolerance and understanding, we ensure that every pupil feels valued and respected.

The whole school community believes in treating everyone with respect, ensuring that our actions reflect the way we wish to be treated. Our positive outlook helps us see the good and furthermore our curiosity drives us to explore and learn with excitement.

We encourage bravery, understanding that making mistakes is an essential part of growth. Our aspirations are high and we support our pupils in achieving their dreams and having high hopes for their futures. Alongside this, safety is paramount.  We are dedicated to teaching our pupils how to keep themselves safe, ensuring they feel secure and valued in our community.

We work hand-in-hand with parents to achieve the best educational outcomes for our children; recognising that collaboration between home and school is key to their success. Together, we build a school community that is resilient, kind, respectful, positive, curious, brave, aspirational and safe.
