Water Safety Assembly – Year 2 Year 2 attended an important assembly this week, where we welcomed a visitor from the Canal & River Trust. He spoke to the children about staying safe near water and highlighted the potential dangers of canals and rivers. The children learned the key message: "Stay away from the edge!" and why we should never swim in canals or rivers. They also discussed what to do if someone accidentally falls into the water and watched a demonstration on how to use a flotation ring safely in an emergency. A very valuable and informative session that helped our children understand how to stay safe near water. #WeExceed

Final Sports Session at Hanson School! This week marked our final sporting session for Year 5 at Hanson School. The children have loved learning new basketball skills and getting a real taste of what PE is like at secondary school. A huge thank you to Hanson School for their time, support, and enthusiasm a fantastic experience for all!

Year 4 had an amazing time at Benton Park School! As part of our Cavendish Curriculum topic, "Healthy Body and Mind", the children took part in 2 exciting trampolining sessions led by trained sports coaches. They loved learning new skills and trying something new! A huge thank you to Benton Park School for welcoming us and giving our pupils the chance to experience their fantastic facilities #WeExceed
